We join with Christians around the world - our hearts ache for the people of Ukraine who suffer because of the war brought into their homes. We call on all Christians, of every denomination and every theological stance, to unite as one in a prayer for peace.

"Lord, we humble ourselves and pray for your mercy: intervene in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. Change hearts and minds of leaders, that they would turn from pathways of evil to journeys of peace. And teach us, Holy Spirit, how to live in ways that promote the teachings and example of Christ. Lord, be with us, we pray. Empower us with courage to be your peacemakers. Amen."
