We are family

"Family" is the word our church members use to describe San Pedro Presbyterian. We are folks with a special bond, and we know we need something bigger, better and more beautiful in our lives than what the world offers. We are large enough to offer a full complement of ordained pastors and professional staff to shepherd excellent worship and discipleship experiences.

Founded in 1968, San Pedro started in a teen dance hall near the San Antonio airfield. From those humble beginnings, land was purchased (pictured) and our first building constructed upon what is now a beautiful campus over multiple deer filled acres. Our current facilities include a fellowship hall, a children's wing, a student building, an adult education building, an outdoor chapel, and a beautiful sanctuary.

Whether you're new to church or looking for a spiritual home - welcome. At San Pedro you will find humble people who believe God's love flows to us as a gift of grace. Expect to be greeted, loved and treated like family. It is our honor to help you discover your God-given purpose.

Taste and see that the Lord is good. Psalm 34:8

Priorities

Kids & Families

We’re here to incite awe in the next generation of believers through laughter, questions, and discovery. Our goal is for our kids to love Jesus and love being in the church. From birth to Senior High, we know investing in young lives brings joy to God and blessings to parents. Our buildings are built for safety, fun and comfort for all ages. Our adult staff have advanced degrees in education and childhood development.

Biblical Truth

San Pedro is a church rooted in the Reformed tradition. Our theology and faith practices emphasize the sovereignty of God, the election of believers for service and salvation, and the Word of God as the guiding principle for faith and life. Our pastors are ordained with master's degrees from accredited seminaries.

Blessing our Community

We believe Christians are called to gather for worship and discipleship, then scatter for service and mission in God's creation. We offer opportunities for families and people of all ages to bless our San Antonio neighborhoods and larger city. We believe God calls us to be generous stewards of all our blessings.
