Why San Pedro?
Why San Pedro?
You have choices when considering a new faith family. Why try San Pedro? We believe it's our responsibility to become better human beings. So for 2024, we've made a promise. "As we strive to become better people, we promise to help people we meet do the same." Be our guest and learn how we're keeping our promise to each other through a monthly "Find Your Fit" opportunity.
Also, we are debt free and large enough to support a full complement of ordained pastors and professional staff. Experience our 9:00 am contemporary or 11:00 am traditional service, then RSVP for our monthly Newcomers Brunch (DETAILS). You can also sign up for our Senior Pastor's daily devotionals - HERE). Our recently renovated facilities at 14900 San Pedro Avenue cover many deer-filled acres. We host adult education courses with child care during the 10:00 am hour.
At San Pedro you will find humble people who believe God's love flows to us as a gift of grace. Experience community within a great church family. "O taste and see that the Lord is good." Psalm 34:8

Kids & Families
We’re here to incite awe in the next generation of believers through laughter, questions, and discovery. Our goal is for kids to love Jesus and to love being in Christ's church. From birth to Senior High, we invest in young lives through our facilities and staff: our spaces are safe, fun and comfortable for all ages; our leaders hold degrees in education and childhood development.
San Pedro is a church rooted in the Reformed tradition. Our theology and faith practices emphasize the sovereignty of God, the election of believers for service and salvation, and the Word of God as the guiding principle for faith and life. Our pastors are ordained with master's degrees from accredited seminaries. Our Senior Pastor holds a doctorate degree.
Blessing our Community
We believe Christians are called to gather for worship and discipleship, then scatter for service and mission in God's creation. We nurture multiple opportunities for families and people of all ages to bless our San Antonio neighborhoods, larger city, and the world. We believe God calls us to generously share from our spiritual giftedness and material blessings.
