Current Series: Before a global pandemic had swept our nation and world, our collective witness of Jesus to others was at best a shadow of what it ought to have been. Sadly, the people we are trying to reach sometimes characterize us as the exact opposite of the One that we are pursuing after. How could this be? Jesus is known for grace, good works, unity, and love. His followers have been known for judgment, hypocrisy, division, and hatred. We didn’t miss the mark by a little bit. We completely misfired.
As the COVID-19 pandemic begins to lessen there are changes occurring around us everywhere. Restaurants, schools, movie theaters, companies, and places of worship are starting to reopen. As these organizations reopen, what if we as Christians have a chance to reopen Christianity? In every obstacle there is opportunity. One major opportunity that has come out of 2020 is the chance for us to examine thoroughly what it truly means to be a Christian. In a world filled with good and great answers, Jesus Christ is still the best answer. You get to be a part of bringing Jesus into this world. Are you ready?
